If a limited or regular express train arrives at the station two hours or more later than its scheduled arrival time, we will refund the limited or regular express charge.
However, fare tickets for higher-rank trains (Green tickets, GranClass tickets, and sleeper tickets) will not be refunded.
Refunds corresponding delays of train service will be made within one year counting from the day after the train delay occurred.
Refunds can be processed at station fare adjustment counters and JR-WEST ticket offices.
In the event of a train cancellation or dely due to an accident or other extenuating circumstances, the JR-WEST's carriage conditions will apply without exception.
